It's been a long time in coming but I'm finally starting a blog! I chose this title because it seems like God is constantly changing our plans and putting us on His path for our lives. It feels like there is a constant detour sign from God whenever I make a plan or head in a certain direction. But His plans are so much better than mine (seriously 26 year old vs. God of the universe) and I'm learning to trust the Lord completely for each step along the way. I would like this blog to be a chronicle of the twists and turns God takes us on along this road of life. This is mainly for my family to give you all more frequent updates about what is going on in our lives and to have what I'm hoping will be an online scrap book to browse through whenever you feel like it. Also I'm hoping this blog will serve as a journal because I have given up on ever consistently writing one. However, with the powers of the keyboard and spell check I just might get through a journal entry a week! I plan to post on what's new in our lives, my latest projects, our travels, and eventually our growing family. When I get more tech savvy I plan to put in videos as well. I love you all and I hope you enjoy reading!
